LITURGY and WORSHIP
"For
where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am
in the midst of them." – Matthew 18:20
The Liturgy Committee of St. Elizabeth Church plans the Eucharistic
celebrations that unite our parish community through worship and
music.
Planning for the different liturgical seasons of the year includes
selecting a theme around which the liturgies of the season revolve,
working with our gospel choir in selecting appropriate music to fit the
theme, and decorating the church for the different liturgical seasons.
The committee also holds periodic training sessions for lectors and
extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion; and seeks to recruit other
parish members to participate in these ministries.
